For The Love of Local Flower Delivery in Cincinnati
1/22/2026
I am writing tonight about the love of local flower delivery in Cincinnati.
This week in Sales
This week, we had four direct sales come through via Google search! Though that number may not seem significant for many people, for us, it is very meaningful. This is because every direct connection with a client, we hope, will lead to a lasting relationship that will carry our shop into its bright future. In this way, “sales” are not just numbers. They are stories. They are memories made. And they are building blocks of trust.
The People’s Choice in Floral and Gifting
These real conversations and connections with people led to a few cool arrangements. One of my favorites were the 2 half-dozen bouquets of roses adorned with led twinkly lights. One was purchased by a young man for his mother’s birthday! What an honor to help a son serve his mother. We also were called upon to create a hanging arrangement of wind chimes. Their music was melodic and heavenly, making a couple of my coldest co-workers smile. Lastly, we did 5 sunflowers in a mason jar, laced with green salal, and several rows of yellow solidago fillers. This was just what the people need when the sun seems so far away from seeming to set too quickly! These customer choices, again, got me closer to what the people really want.
For the windchime arrangement, my son and I carefully drove it down to the Hodapp Funeral home on Vine Street. On the way back, we got lunch together at Richie’s Chicken, another local favorite. Since there were so many people there, I shared my flower business with some of my neighbors in Avondale and others who all crowded into the 12 feet of standing room in front of the glistening piles of fried wings, legs and thighs. They were all so open to hearing about flowers and talking about their significance or insignificance in their lives. I tend to think that learning about how real people feel about flowers makes me a better florist, the “peoples “florist of Cincinnati. Maybe its not true, but everybody does love flowers. LOL.
More Donations
During the day we were able to collect an older arrangement from Astorias Nursing home and replace it with a red, white and pink Valentine arrangement in a playful cookie jar. They kept saying, “the first one had just died, but we knew you was comin’ back.” That confidence, I feel, is what we need to continue gaining trust in the community and trust in ourselves that commitment to our mission is 100% possible!
Lastly, and in almost silence, we removed a crisping “Weeping Willow” from Albert’s Beaty Salon and replaced it with an unnamed arrangement that flows low in a gold basin shaped container with clubbed feet! When I came in, no one saw me. I just replaced the old with the new and left in full confidence that the arrangement would be loved because I put my heart into it. She still doesn’t have a name, but I was thinking “selvética” o Colombian/ Caribbean Jungle in its expression of natural growing of foliage and flower, where there is no hero stem, just a myriad of colors, and lots of greenery sharing space in some of the most surprising shape combination. Moreso, its encasing in gold speaks to the inherit richness in the plant world, hidden in or within the world of foliage, deep in jungles.
What would you call it? Let me know in the comments.
As my business grows exponentially daily, I realize that a when a deed that takes a lot of sacrifice is done with full heart and excellence, the blessing rain down chorreando. With your purchases, we will continue giving back in beauty!

Finding Joy in Local Flower Delivery in Cincinnati
Getting ready for V-Day. Writing SEO products. Pricing. Double Checking. Triple Checking. All that is fine and well, but I am feeling blessed in being able to write in this blog space. Because it is here, where I can express how much joy I get from doing local flower delivery in Cincinnati. The talks, the laughs, the hugs, the conversation. It all makes me feel alright about life. Like Milena wrote in her poem on this blog, “the one who learns how to care for a flower, learns to care for life.”
And with flowers and people, I love this life more. Thank God for all his blessings
See you around and we can’t wait to serve you.
With all our love, All the People.
