Since the humble beginnings of this lovely industry, floral artists have been wrapping their arrangements in paper.

This was mostly done for the very practical reason of keeping stems protected for long walks homes. Most often, our early open air market florists would grab any paper at hand for this task, often opting for old newspapers or
thick butcher paper. To keep stems hydrated, they would wrap the stems in a few moistened rags or moss. When they would do this, they would go for a thick paper to prevent unwanted leakages. To finish the wrapping, they would tie their arrangement in the paper with twine.

As the industry evolved, wrapping began to take meanings that surpassed practicality and resourcefulness. For instance, in Asian cultures, the wrapping represented a sacrality, making the gift spiritual in nature. Whereas, in the Victorian wrapping, wrapping became theatrical, in that it encompassed the elements of surprise and enjoyment.

In Modern times, and depending on the florist you visit, floral wrapping can be practical, aesthetic or both. For example, the famous Korean wrap, uses intricate pleating and double sides wrapping paper that is architectural and selected to complement the flowers within. Whereas, in Hispanic cultures, dozens of roses are wrapped in perfectly symmetrical pointed paper, often monochromatic in nature, adding a sense of passion and adoration.

Here at All the People, our wrapping took on a similar evolution. We started with the practical by simply slipping our bouquets in clear sleeves for optimal protection and preservation.

But, as our business grew, we wanted to add more options to elevate our customer’s gift-giving experience. This took a lot of practice and tutorials. However, the work we put in was worth it. Now, we offer many wrapping styles, that will truly make your arrangement unforgettable, sacred, poetic and unique.

In this catalogue, you will find simple pointed wrapping, European rustic wraps, tissue paper wrapping, Hispanic Ramo wrappings, Parisian wrapping, and even the famous Korean wrappings,

Since we view arranging as an art, and our flowers as poetry, the wrapping adds an extra special layer of protection that is both breath-taking and practical.
